Biography of Marc Levy
Marc Levy is a French writer and novelist, best known for his novel "Just Like It Happened" which was adapted into the film "Between Heaven and Earth" in 2005.
He was born in 1961 in Boulogne, France, into a Jewish family. During World War II, his grandparents died in Auschwitz, and his father, Raymond Levy (1923-2014), was a member of the French Resistance movement. His father's and uncle's memoirs would later inspire Levy's novel "Children of Freedom".
Early Career
In 1979, Marc joined the Red Cross organization and three years later became the regional director of the Emergency Aid Department in Paris.
He enrolled at the Paris Diderot University in 1982 and, while in his second year, founded his first company, "Logitec France". In 1984, Marc moved to the United States and became one of the foun
