Sunetra Sastry is a British make-up artist best known as the ex-wife of famous English comedian, actor, and screenwriter Rowan Atkinson. 

He is the son of Eric Atkinson and Ella May Bainbridge.

She has not disclosed the names of her parents. 

However, it is known that her mother was English while her father was an Indian.

Because of her mixed ethnicity, she had to experience social racism growing up in England.

Her parents wanted her to become a nurse, but soon after finishing high school, she decided to attend a beauty college in London.
